When we were asked to take on this baby shower for newlyweds, Shawntay and Nick, we knew it had to be something special.  As they prepared to welcome their second child to love, but first child together (mommy’s second, daddy’s first), the couple decided that they’d like to reveal baby’s gender during the baby shower.  Keeping with some of the underlying themes of their relationship, mommy and daddy-to-be decided that a royal themed gender reveal was in order and The Event Boutique took care of the rest!

We decided to go with a classic color scheme with a twist.  Using the traditional soft pink and baby blue color palette as a base, we decided to add in hints of fuchsia and turquoise to mix it up a little.  To ensure that we fully communicated that this would be a “royal” baby-to-be, touches of gold and sparkle were used to make the look complete.

And oh, by the way… It’s a boy!
